Your necessities will be food and some travel (subway, Uber). I would plan on at least $30 per day for food and around $30 for transportation - whether you use it or not. So I would bring around $150, more if you plan on shopping, etc. In reality, you'll probably spend less than that. Also, don't forget your money for luggage if you are checking luggage onto the plane. Make sure you bring a debit/credit card as the airline check-in does not take cash.

Students MUST be chaperoned at all times outside the hotel, or risk suspension or being sent home. One of the most awesome features of our trip is the New York Explorer Pass, which gives you free access to any three NYC Attractions on their list. Each of you will be given a sheet with a QR code to scan into your phone. Check out all the attractions and instructions in the file below and make your plans for Thursday and Saturday sightseeing!

LEGAL ID - It goes without saying, right? You've got to have your driver's license or some form of legal ID to get on the plane. If you have questions, see me. But DON'T. FORGET. IT! GET THE AMERICAN AIRLINES APP ON YOUR PHONE - It's a big help. The Record Locator for the trip is XJSZYW. LUGGAGE - Don't forget to review the American Airlines rules and fees for luggage! And Pack for the weather - looks like it will be cold and wet! DRESS CODE - Dress Code for all of the trip is school appropriate. If you wish to get dressed up a little for the awards, Broadway, or the dinner out, arrange that amongst yourselves. It's never bad to look good! MAIN RULES - 1) Be with a designated chaperone at ALL times outside of the hotel, 2) No boys in girls rooms, no girls in boys rooms, and 3) Be where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there. Plan your trip ahead of time to save time. REQUIRED EVENTS - 1) GSP Airport Wednesday at 2:30pm, 2) Broadway or Hockey Thursday night, 3) IBS Keynote, Friday at Noon, 4) At least 4 Other IBS Sessions Friday and/or Saturday, 5) High School Awards, Friday at 5:15pm, 6) Group Meal Friday after awards, 7) In the lobby ready to go Sunday at 5:15am, 8) Have a ride at GSP Airport Sunday at Noon.
