FINAL PRE-TRIP UPDATE - NOVEMBER 20
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. Your ID...Don't forget your legal ID, preferably a Driver's License.
2. Meet at GSP Airport at 11am. GSP Airport is Exit 57 on Northbound I-85. Once you get to the airport, look for the United Airlines signs to unload. We will be inside the airport by United check-in.
3. Mr. Boone will take care of getting your boarding pass. Just bring your ID and any money (debit/credit card preferred) to check baggage.
4. Make sure your baggage is packed correctly. Follow the tips below and check united.com if you need more info.
5. Only a personal item is allowed in the cabin on this flight. There's a picture of the size limits below. Anything else has to be checked. A carry-on bag is $25 each way, and a checked bag is $30 each way. (I'm just checking a bag so I don't have to worry about dragging anything else around and because our flight is direct - no stops, so very little chance of luggage getting lost.)
6. Bring money for meals and sightseeing, shopping, transportation, etc. Some meals are provided and a hop-on hop-off bus ticket is also provided for sightseeing. Otherwise, I'm thinking a minimum of $100 spending money (debit or credit card preferred). If any of you struggle with that, let me know and I will work with you.
7. Bring the field trip form with you. Print off here and get signed by your parents.
8. Dress code is school casual for the entire trip.
9. Don't pack your coat - carry it with you or wear it!
10. Be ready for cold weather! (Not as cold as we thought originally, but still cold) Hats, gloves, warm socks and good walking shoes.
11. Have your parents ready to pick you up at GSP at 12:28pm Sunday!
12. Any questions, anytime, call or text Mr. Boone - 954.812.6774
